He was born on April 8, 1992, in the community of San Miguel del Monte, Morelia Michoacan, Mexico.

Son of Marcelino Avalos Tinoco and Maria del Carmen Cruz Bucio, he has a sister, Maria Ignacia Avalos Cruz.

He studied elementary education in his community, San Miguel del Monte, and high school in the city of Morelia, graduating with a degree in music and instrumentalist from the “Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolas de Hidalgo”.

Composer and arranger.
Since 2015 arranger of regional groups and bands, as well as chamber ensembles,

composer of traditional Michoacan music, sones, abajeños, sonecitos, etc.; teacher of traditional bands for children and youth.

In 2022 he collaborated with the Mexican instrumentalist Faustino Díaz, composing two works for soloist, one for trombone and the other for trumpet.

His work, mostly nationalistic, is characterized by rescuing the traditions of his community and preserving traditional Mexican music.

He currently works in the Michoacán State Public Security Department Band and lives in the community of San Miguel del Monte.
